Richa Gupta is an educator and social entrepreneur from India. She is the CEO & co-founder of Labhya Foundation, a globally recognized Indian nonprofit that provides over 2.4 million under-served children with the necessary skills to overcome poverty while also becoming effective learners.
Richa has worked with education non-profits like Teach For India and Teach For All and was the Indian Country Ambassador to the 10th (Girls)20 Summit in Japan. Richa has been recognized by the Takeda Foundation as the “Best Entrepreneur 2019”. She is a Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation entrepreneur and was also listed as the Women’s Forum Rising Talent 2020.
Previously Richa served as an Equity and Inclusion Fellow at Harvard University, a Harvard Ministerial Leadership Fellow and an Education Entrepreneurship Fellow.
Currently, Richa also serves on the advisory board of Generation Unlimited, UNICEF India and on the Steering Committee of Karanga: The Global Alliance for Social Emotional Learning and Life Skills. Richa is also a 2022 Global Young Leader for SDGs appointed by UN Secretary General Youth Envoy.
