Join the Community Vaccine Townhall

Join the Haiti Renewal Alliance and IndyGeneUS for a virtual townhall event about Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) vaccine uptake and hesitancy. The event is on Thursday, February 25th from 18:00-20:00 EST (GMT/UTC-5), and is in honor of Black History Month.

The goal of the town hall is to discuss the state of the vaccine rollout, 'debunk' Covid-19 vaccine myths, address concerns in the community about vaccine side effects and distribution plans, and ultimately remove the barriers of fear and misinformation in a community that has been disproportionately impacted by Covid-19.

The townhall includes a panel discussion of professionals from Moderna, Microsoft, Howard University, the D.C. Department of Health, and Your GPS Doc, as well as opening remarks by HRA/DHC and Morgan State University's School of Community Health and Policy.

For more information or to register for the event, visit the Zoom meeting page here. For questions, contact HRA's Marketing & Communications Director, Jessica Theodore, at communication@haitirenew.org.
