Alicja Lelwic-Ojeda, 28, co-leads the Migration Youth and Children Platform (MYCP), the migration constituency of the Major Group for Children and Youth. As the Co-Director, she manages a team of 100+ youth, overseeing all activities and projects, including the Youth Forum program, youth consultations, policy and advocacy portfolios, in particular youth engagement in the GCM and GFMD processes. In parallel to the advocacy work, Alicja is an international development professional specializing in migration issues. She has managed projects focusing on socioeconomic development on behalf of the British government and the European Union in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa. She has advised on international mobility solutions in Vietnam and the Netherlands, delivered research on the EU Mobility Partnerships implementation in Moldova, Georgia, and Armenia supported the African Union Commission’s migration policy development, as well as worked on strengthening the capacity of Polish NGOs in the Ukraine humanitarian response at the International Rescue Committee. She holds a bachelor's degree from Sciences Po Paris, and an MSc in Governance of Migration and Diversity from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Originally from Poland, Alicja is based in Santiago de Chile.
