Carrying out the Onomastic Analysis for Mapping the Kazakh Diaspora

This study is based on quantitative (survey of respondents) and qualitative (survey of experts, in-depth interviews) methods of collecting information collected in December 2021 - August 2022. Purpose: to study the institutionalization of the Kazakh community of the Russian Federation. The study consists of two parts: 1) survey of respondents – ethnic Kazakhs living in the Russian Federation (citizens of the Russian Federation), 2) survey of expert specialists, scientists, researchers in the field of migration, diasporology, anthropology, international relations, etc.

En 2023, l’Organisation internationale pour les migrations (OIM), iDiaspora, le Global Research Forum on Diaspora and Transnationalism (GRFDT – Forum mondial de recherche sur la diaspora et le transnationalisme), la Global Diaspora Confederation (GDC – Confédération des diasporas du monde) et la Migration Youth and Children Platform (MYCP – Plateforme des jeunes et des enfants en situation de migration) se sont associés pour organiser trois échanges virtuels des diasporas du monde sur la communication comme outil permettant de stimuler l’implication des diasporas dans le développement.

Les diasporas au premier plan de la protection sociale; les impacts, les dynamiques et opportunités futures

Les pays sont responsables de fournir une protection sociale à leurs citoyens et, dans un contexte migratoire, ce sont les pays de destination qui sont les principaux responsables. Cependant, les limitations de l'accès des migrants à la protection sociale ont donné lieu à une pléthore de mesures informelles, tels que celles fournies par les communautés transnationales et les diasporas qui soutiennent leurs familles et leurs communautés à travers des réseaux personnels, permettant d’accéder aux soins de santé, à l'éducation, à la retraite et à la sécurité sociale.
