Andrea is a dedicated leader committed to promoting Salvadoran culture in Argentina and strengthening migrant communities. She arrived in Argentina at 18 and, upon recognizing the absence of an established Salvadoran community, took the initiative to create networks among her compatriots. In 2014, she organized the first cultural event in Buenos Aires, marking the beginning of her journey to unite Salvadorans in the country.
Since then, Andrea has worked tirelessly to maintain open communication within her community, culminating in the establishment of the first Civil Association of Salvadorans in Argentina, where she serves as president. Her efforts focus on fostering a sense of belonging, building support networks for migrants, and showcasing Salvadoran culture through events and artistic collaborations.
Additionally, her involvement with the Youth Network of Communities in Buenos Aires has provided her with valuable experience in organization, perseverance, and leadership. Andrea's journey reflects her unwavering commitment to cultural integration and to empowering younger generations of the Salvadoran diaspora.
