A.MI.CO. Changemakers is part of the “A.MI.CO.” (Migrant Associations for Co-development) Programme, a set of initiatives promoted by IOM Italy - Coordination Office for the Mediterranean, with the support of Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The purpose of the initiative is to offer training and technical support to Italy’s young emerging diaspora leaders (aged between 18 and 35), to amplify and strengthen their role as changemakers.

Following in-person training, peer-to-peer exchanges with political representatives, social entrepreneurs, and activists, and tailored coaching, in November 2023, the participants in the first edition shared their action plans with an audience of "senior changemakers”, and received practical feedback, facilitating future synergies.
