L'équipe de l'OIM chargée de l'engagement des diasporas a publié sa sixième lettre d'information semestrielle. Découvrez les engagements des diasporas dans le cadre des projets de l'OIM et obtenez des informations intéressantes sur les diasporas.  Cette édition comprend également des lectures intéressantes sur la mobilité des compétences et le rôle de la diaspora dans la réponse humanitaire.  L'OIM remercie les voix intéressantes qui sont présentées dans cette édition : Eugène Désiré Nzengou, Kriticos M., Hanan Challouki, Mariam Harutyunyan entre autres.

DIASPORA ENGAGEMENT NEWSLETTER

IOM’s Diaspora Engagement team  published its sixth biannual newsletter Learn about the diaspora engagements within IOM’s projects and get some interesting diaspora insights.  This edition also includes some interesting reads on skills mobility and the role of diaspora in humanitarian response.  IOM thanks the interesting voices who are featured in this edition: Eugène Désiré Nzengou, Kriticos M., Hanan Challouki, Mariam Harutyunyan among others In the newsletter, there is a thorough list of events for diaspora and podcasts.

AFRICAN DIASPORA AGROFOOD ENTREPRENEURS COMPENDIUM

COLEACP and The FoodBridge vzw, a non-profit organisation, have produced a Compendium showcasing the innovative businesses of nine African Diaspora agrofood entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs have seized the opportunities to apply their education and professional skills gained in Europe to support sustainable development in their country of origin, alongside achieving entrepreneurial success in their country of residence.

MENA Diaspora Newsletter - First Edition

Report of the European Conference Diaspora on the Protection Information for Afghans at Risk

This report reflects the proceedings of the European Conference “Diaspora Protection Information for Afghans at Risk”, held on 12-13 June 2022, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The purpose of this report is to share the discussion points held between the conference participants on the importance of the protection information on safe migration for Afghans at risk and the role of diaspora organizations (DOs) in providing this information. This conference brought together 87 participants from diaspora organizations, INGO, UN, government donors, and research partners.
