The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation’s vision is defined as “Immigration, taking refuge, and free and immune repatriation which ensuring access to human rights”. The ministry functions to ensure honorable, volunteer and gradual repatriation of refugees and their resettlement, providing legal support, and strive for solving their problems permanently. The ministry’s mission is to manage affairs related to immigration, refuge, repatriation and sustainable settlement; provide legal and social services for refugees, returnees and internally-displaced persons (IDPs), and to attract national and international cooperation.
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation also functions as secretariat of High Commission for Refugees. Proposed by MoRR, the commission was established in 2015 (1394 Solar Hijri). The commission’s goals is to make policies and bring immense coordination at national level in order to:
