GDPA

This survey aims to collect essential information about diaspora leaders nominated by Member States under the Global Diaspora Policy Alliance (GDPA)* in three focus areas: gender and youth; climate change; and health and well-being.  Since its launch in 2024, the GDPA has operated as a dynamic ecosystem, fostering collaboration among governments, diaspora organizations, and key stakeholders to empower diasporas and amplify their contributions to sustainable development, humanitarian efforts, and peacebuilding. With the support of the International Organization for Migration, the GDPA is developing a database of diaspora leaders. This database will serve as a vital advocacy tool to highlight global diaspora contributions and guide the GDPA’s future initiatives.

By participating, you will have the opportunity to be identified as a distinguished leader contributing to shaping effective diaspora-related policies, strengthening global partnerships, and advancing impactful initiatives. This survey also provides a unique chance to expand your network, engage with key actors, and access valuable resources to enhance your work as a diaspora leader.

The survey will take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary and confidential. The survey is in English, and please feel free to respond in the language that is most convenient for you. The information collected from the survey are to be used strictly following IOM Data Privacy Guidelines.

We sincerely thank you for your time and valuable input in advancing diaspora engagement. Together, we can foster collaboration and create meaningful global solutions!
